Ottawa Pre-Thanksgiving feast of gratitude and friendship! Let’s eat pie together
October 5, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - October 6, 2019 @ 11:00 pm$30
We love our Ducklings. And we are so grateful to have such amazing friends and community. And we want to share the love.
So we are having a pre-Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving at the Duckling Hideaway in Constance Bay. We want to eat turkey, pumpkin pie and whatever else you usually make for Thanksgiving together on the 50 foot balcony overlooking the Ottawa River. Come see the colours of fall and share in community, amazing food, and lots of laughs. This is all about love, gratitude, hot tubs, pumpkin pie, hugs, dancing and cuddles.
All done, with humour, grace, integrity and sensuality.
It’s in Constance Bay at the end of a very private road with no neighbours to see into the hot tub.
The community is fun, sassy, sexy, happy and very inclusive. As Blaik says, “we aren’t for everyone, but for those who like us, they really like us”. A friendly group trying not to turn into our parents is how we describe being a Duck. Don’t be scared, Ducklings are the nicest people and will welcome you warmly. The dinner runs from 3 pm to 10 pm. Overnight is afterwards.
******** There is an overnight component to this event for the first 20 or so people who RSVP and send Blaik an etransfer. It’s an additional $30 for the sleep over with limited space.******
$30 which will include some favours. There is a limit on size so don’t delay. Send us an email at email@example.com if you want to camp overnight. Address is sent to registered members.
Bring whatever else you want to drink.. Bring a towel and a robe for the hot tub.
Here’s how we are doing food.
We are cooking two turkeys and bringing some potatoes.
We want Ducks with last names starting from A-M to bring hot or cold vegetables or appetizers
That means potatoes, turnips, beans, salads, carrots etc. If you make something special like tortiere that would count as well.
with last names starting with N-Z we want you to bring desserts, buns, other meat like ham, butter and things that go with a Thanksgiving dinner.
